Nkonki had no option but to liquidate the firm. That's according to a professor Tshepo Mongalo of law at Monash University.
The 25-year-old firm announced its liquidation following the auditor general's decision to cut ties with the firm. Mongalo says since the firm depended mainly on government work, it is unlikely that it would meet the requirements for business rescue.
