The 2018 Breitling Premier Chronograph 42 is one of the most exciting mid-cycle luxury sports watches of 2018. Whether you consider this a late year release or an early pre Baselworld 2019 debut, the Breitling Premier is the historically relevant sports chronograph that new Breitling watch CEO Georges Kerns promised when he joined the Breitling brand in 2017.
Each 2018 Breitling Premier Chronograph 42 sports a COSC certified Swiss chronometer Breilting caliber 13 (Valjoux 7750, chronometer grade) with automatic winding, 48 hour power reserve, and both stop seconds and quick set date. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and is delivered on a full Breitling Navitimer style steel bracelet with deployant clasp (folding clasp) and clamshell locking device.
The Breitling A13315351B1A1 is encased in 42mm of stainless steel surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel bracelet. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, tachymeter, and chronograph. It also measures 13.9mm in thickness and 49.9mm from lug-to-lug.
The Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch Chronograph 311.30.42.30.01.005 includes the famed 42mm stainless steel case and Lemania based Omega caliber 1861 that continue to fly with NASA astronauts. In size, shape, function, and performance, Omega keeps its iconic Moonwatch identical to NASA issue and very close to the original hesalite crystal Omega chronographs that few to the Moon with Apollo XI.
Each Omega Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.005 features a 42mm stainless steel case surrounding a black dial on a stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, small-seconds, chronograph, and tachymeter. The watch also measures 14mm in thickness and 48.5mm from lug-to-lug.
