People rarely discuss how difficult and strange it can feel moving back home after you've lived another country for years. It's also a unique situation when you're moving back home with a new family and your kids become the expats in your home country.
In this podcast episode we discuss how my mom moved back home to the UK after 16 years living in the USA as a british expat. Sally spent the majority of her adulthood in America - she went there as a new bride and came back home to england much older, with a husband and 2 kids.
Tori talks about the difficulty of also becoming an expat as a child and how difficult it was to make the transition over in England even though she spoke the same language. (well kinda 😂)
Do you have any experience moving or living abroad and then having to come back home to start again?
