FULL HD preview video of La Plagne's Lutins piste in the Montalbert/Longefoy sector. Watch the Virtual Reality 360VR video at [ Ссылка ]. Although the Lutins piste is very much an intermediate run aimed at all ages, it’s really the kids that will enjoy this run the most. Dotted along its short length are various wooden statues of mythical animals and creatures of the forest, sure to delight youngsters making their way down the hill.
This short run really serves as a link piste between the main Montalbert blue which stretches all the way down to Montalbert and the lower section of the Pralioud blue. Both this and Pralioud are littered with these small carvings – sure to entertain big and small kids alike. The run itself is short on a very mellow gradient through the trees. The pistes around Montalbert are normally some of the quietest in La Plagne – and, even when they do get busy, they never particularly seem it since the runs here are all through the trees which limits how much of the mountain you can see. This sector is always a good place to come to when it snows (the trees help break up bad weather). Also, after a fresh dump, the snow remains untouched here longer – plus there are various good off-piste routes through the trees (always ride with a guide).

La Plagne is a French ski area in the Tarentaise (Isère) valley in the Savoie department of France. The resort joined with neighbouring Les Arcs in 2003, to form the massive Paradiski ski area. Paradiski is the third-largest ski area in the world behind Trois Vallées and Les Portes du Soleil.
La Plagne and Les Arcs lie in the centre of a huge skiing region contained in the Vanoise National Park. La Plagne is the most popular ski resort in the world with more than 2.5 million visitors a season. The ski area is best suited to advanced beginner / intermediate level - though there is a wealth of easily-accessible, very challenging off-piste (in particular, off the Bellecôte glacier). You need a guide to find and safely ride the out-of-bounds terrain in La Plagne.
La Plagne accommodation ranges from self-catering apartments (often in rather ugly buildings) up to luxury chalets and hotels. The resort itself is split into 11 different villages, each with its own distinct personality. Families are best advised to stay in the quieter, lower resorts of Champagny, Montalbert or Montchavin / Les Coches and, to a degree, Plagne 1800. Higher up options included Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil - both very quiet at night - though there is still access to Plagne Centre.
Plagne Centre accommodation is mainly in hotels and apartments (with a few chalet options too). The nightlife in Centre is more varied with more options than any of the other satellite stations. Centre is linked to Aime 2000 by a small cable car which runs until around midnight - after which there is a bus. Aime 2000 itself is an ugly monstrosity built high above Centre. The views here to Mont Blanc are breathtaking - but the resort itself is limited in terms of nightlife.
Plagne Bellecôte features stark, ugly - but highly functional - apartment accommodation. Much like Centre, most facilities are contained within one main building. There are two nightclubs and one main bar (Spitting Feathers). For other nightlife, you should take the bus to Plagne Centre or the télécabine to Belle Plagne (open until midnight). Belle Plagne is the newest of the La Plagne resorts and features probably the best nightlife and biggest range of accommodation including chalets, apartments and hotels.
