A few minutes ago! 9 tornadoes hit Houston Texas, homes destroyed in Katy and Alvin
A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Harris and Waller counties. Authorities have confirmed that a tornado touched down north of Katy, and is moving toward Cypress and Bridgeland.
According to the NWS storm report, damage was reported to a mobile home park and several cars were overturned. Further damage was reported about an hour later in the towns of Porter Heights and Splendora, north of Houston. East Montgomery Fire Department was also hit by a twister.
