I have used several Electric Nasal Aspirators, and most of them have had issues with mucus seeping into the machine. However, this Electric Nasal Aspirator has improved significantly. Although there is still some slight seepage, it doesn't clog the machine. This is my third nasal aspirator, and I have taught my daughters how to use it. Whenever they have a runny nose due to allergies, they use it themselves. For children, using a nasal aspirator can sometimes be a bit scary, but this is a good tool. It has music and colorful lights, making it feel a bit like a toy for them.
