The lap dog of Davy Jones, the Kraken is one of the most iconic parts of the Pirates franchise and for good reason. Alongside it's horrid visage and ruthlessness, Zimmer's theme for the dreaded beast is magnificent. Not only is it frantic and adrenaline pumping with the guitar, odd instrumentation, and chanting, but also the lower, deeper strings portraying the predator of the sea very well.
