Millions of Americans will head to the polls tomorrow in the state of Georgia for two crucial Senate run-off elections which will decide which party controls the US Senate.
The outcome will determine how effective incoming Democrat President Joe Biden will be in implementing his policies over the next four years.
President Donald Trump described the upcoming state election as “the most important congressional run-off probably in American history”.
Republicans need to win one of the two races to retain their Senate majority while Democrats need both in order to see the Senate split 50/50 which would result in Vice President Kamala Harris holding the tie-breaking vote.
Republican Senate candidates Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue will face off against Democrat Senate candidates Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
