Russia is doubling down on its push for payments for its gas exports to be made in roubles. But Moscow has said it will not demand an immediate switch. It has promised a gradual shift, when it unveils its payment plan on Mar 31. The probability of supply disruptions has prompted Germany to trigger an emergency plan to manage gas inventories.
