An afternoon session at Wilkes Passage, Fiji. Fun little waves over a shallow reef.
I forgot to put sunscreen on that little patch of skin on my back between my boardies and my top... Got soo burnt; I think that part of me glowed for days!
By this point in our trip I was riding the Pyzel Mini Ghost exclusively, and as a quad it gave me extra speed to get past the sections. The swell direction was quite straight on in at Wilkes (and mostly missing Cloudbreak), so it was quite hard to stay in front of the wave. I think it was low tide incoming
This board is now my go-to for small waves
