Åse will share the story about how students from Trondheim with limited budgets and a huge passion to change the world for the better, created the world's largest international student festival ISFiT. Åse Håtveit grew up in Oslo as the oldest of three, and she has always had a passion for music. After finishing her service as a Concert Master in His Majesty, the King's Guard Band, and Drill Team, she moved to Trondheim to study informatics. From March 2021 to February 2023 Åse built and led a student organization of 450 student volunteers to create a new version of the world's largest international student festival in Trondheim - ISFiT. She is a master’s student in informatics at NTNU. She is currently doing her final work at MIT Senseable City Lab in Boston with a focus on empowering communities to understand climate change and our environment. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
