Janet is a ceramics artist who works with fine Porcelain and vintage lace -- a unique combination inspired by her Swiss grandfather. He worked in the fashion, fabric and textile industry and provided the fabric for the dresses worn by the Queen and Queen Mother at Princess Margaret's wedding.

For her early work, Janet used antique lace handed down to her from the family silk and lace business which operated in Switzerland, Lyon and London.
