The start of Season 2 Vlog: John has re-enlisted into the military and has to go through 6 months of training (again) called OSUT. So instead of staying at home doing something normal - the girls and I are off on another epic adventure. This time we don't have a 5th wheel or a pop up camper or our motorhome. We are rocking a Chevy Express 3500 and going on a 10,000 mile adventure across the western United States. We outfitted it with an Ikamper, port-a-potty, small portable kitchen, portable solar panels from Off Grid Trek and an otter box cooler.
This is week 1, late August 2021. Alex, Hailey and I have traveled from Denver, CO to Bend, OR to check out some of the mountain biking trails and Smith Rock State Park. We are camping on BLM land to save as much money as possible. I am trying to stay to our BAH budget for gas and lodging (campsites). It is important to stay in our budget.
I know many of you have a lot of questions. Did we try to go full time RV living? Did we travel the United States? Did I quit my job? Why did John re-enlisted? What happened to the pop-up or the motorhome? Do you live stationary in an RV anymore? - I promise as soon as John has finished OSUT, we will sit down together and do a Q&A for you all!!
