A recent article quoted one of many letters sent by people. ""I don't want to work anymore,"" many people assert categorically. ""Covid has opened my eyes. I no longer want to get up every morning, get in the car, swipe my ID card, and answer emails. I can't take it anymore! I just want to enjoy life while I'm healthy and full of energy. I want to see my friends, travel, read, and tend to my garden. Financially, I'm lucky, I can afford it.""
In fact, people are getting the idea that there is no point in working hard. Work enough to provide for your needs, and no more. That's how we should live. Why do you need more? Why should I earn bread by the sweat of my brow? We have enough for bread. Humanity should not work so hard producing redundant things. It only pollutes the Earth.
The initial human desire just to relax, live in peace and have fun will turn into the need to self-educate. A person will seek to fulfill with greater content, while today it's just fun and entertainment. People will yearn to understand what they live for, what they relax for, what they need to do with themselves, how they can achieve greater satisfaction, fulfillment, and connect to the world around them more peacefully.
As a result of this transition, we will come to a life that will be more and more balanced, and according to our necessities. Nowadays, we do not know how to get rid of all the excesses. We throw them away, then produce them again to throw them out once more, and so on, to no end. And the common folk pay for it.
