Here is the best way to pull inflammation out of a joint.
1. Cut a piece of cheese cloth into about a 5”x5” square. You can also use a gauze pad - just unfold it into a single layer of cloth.
2. Grate up some fresh ginger. A few tablespoons will do it.
3. Put ginger in middle of cloth and wrap up into a little package (poultice). The bottom of the poultice should be only one layer of cloth. This is the side that will go on your skin.
4. Cut a piece of plastic to go on the top of the poultice to avoid leaking fluid.
5. Place poultice single layer side down against skin directly at spot of inflammation.
6. Secure poultice in place with ktape or ace bandage. I prefer ktape if you have it so that it doesn’t move. One piece should do it. Then you can either use more ktape or wrap in prewrap.
7. Leave for several hours. After about 15-30min it will start to burn. This means that it is working. It will burn for a few hours and then stop. Remove poultice and enjoy the lack of pain in that spot.
*For a skin or muscle issue, try using potato instead of ginger. You will need to leave a potato poultice in place for much longer than ginger.
