Roberts Union Corporation (RUC) originally 50% Murray and Roberts 50% Union Corp was initially known as General Mining Contractors and sank the Mt Lyall shaft in Tasmania in 1976 – the very first RUC project. In 2003 RUC was taken over as 100% Murray and Roberts.
Since its beginnings as a raise drill specialist, RUC has gone on to partner with some of the biggest names in the mining industry across a full range of underground development and production requirements.
