According to reports, the Delhi Police has reportedly reached out to wrestling federations in approximately five countries to gather information regarding allegations of sexual harassment made by wrestlers against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the chief of the Wrestling Federation of India. The wrestlers claimed in their First Information Reports (FIRs) that they were subjected to harassment during tournaments held in Indonesia, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. In the communication sent to these foreign federations, the police have requested assistance in the form of tournament-related photographs, videos, CCTV footage from the venues, as well as footage from the athletes' accommodation. However, these details may not be received prior to the deadline of June 15, by which the police are required to submit a chargesheet to the court. Therefore, it is likely that the police will submit a supplementary chargesheet later, incorporating the information obtained from abroad.
