I haven't done an upgrade for the Eimac 100th SE amp for more than a month because there is a noise problem, and I haven't done a tune for this. yesterday I tried to repair it by repairing the Supply vdc filament on the existing 809 tube by providing an Ixys 60A diode on the positive path and an additional BG FK 2200uf / 16V to make it more linear. and the result is now much reduced noise. for 100TH, changes were made to Rk 160R with 2 x BG VK 47uf/160V to increase the current me to 40mA. from before, only 23mA. of course this is still not high because I still use negative auto bias. and Va is only around 1250Vdc. but this has become better and adds more power than the previous. for the Eimac 100th tube I replaced the ceramic base with a metal base. and I'm still continuing to explore what's best.
