Rahul Sharma, one of India’s finest and versatile classical musicians, performed at the Golden Jubilee Concert of Taj Mahal Tea. His virtuosity on the Santoor left the audience spellbound and indeed it was a treat to have a musician of his stature play in such an intimate setting. ‘Darbar-E-Taj’ is a YouTube Channel dedicated to Indian classical music, and is envisioned as a content destination for connoisseurs and the curious alike.

The channel has been launched to commemorate the 50th year of Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea (first introduced in 1966), and is an online celebration of the glorious relationship between the brand and Indian Classical music

This video contains never before seen footage of performances from the 14 hour Golden Jubliee concert at the Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea House in Mumbai. It also includes interviews from the performing artists such as Taufiq Qureshi, Rahul Sharma, Paras Nath to name a few.

Darbar-E-Taj will also host a number of videos of performances by these artists interspersed with interesting information on the curation and construction of their compositions.
