Honda has hidden a spectacular driver’s car within the 2019 Civic’s A-to-B reputation. From a set of smooth and refined engines to a suspension that dances and grips through tight corners and sharp bends, this Civic will be enjoyed long after the commute is over.

Our test car, a 2019 Honda Civic with Touring trim, featured Honda’s 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, good for 174 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. While the 1.5-liter was more satisfying than the base 2.0-liter engine, the real gem in the Civic lineup is the Si trim’s 205-hp, 192-lb-ft version of the 1.5. That is, assuming we’re not counting the Civic Type R’s heavily re-worked 2.0-liter.
Honda has reintroduced a volume knob and five shortcut buttons in the 2019 Civic, making its touchscreen-based infotainment system much easier to navigate. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also present, so even though the system as a whole pales next to the newer software in the Honda Pilot, Passport, and Accord, many users won’t really notice.
Honda Sensing, a suite of advanced safety features, comes standard on the ever Civic except the Si and the Type R. Pricing starts at a very reasonable $19,450 and no trim starts above $30,000 (except the Type R). For more information on the 2019 Honda Civic, read Cliff’s full review on CarGurus: [ Ссылка ]
