Slider weights, introduced by Dr. Pulley, has gained popularity over the past few years. The unique shape allows a lower-low gear and a higher-high gear. This equates to better acceleration and top speed. These slider weights are for my Honda Ruckus equipped with the Polini Variator. They fit basically all scooters equipped with a CVT transmission, such as a GY6, Zuma, Typhoon, Aerox, BWS, C3, Vox, Dio, and so on. However, a lot of people do not know how to install them properly. Improper installation may yield excellent acceleration but severe loss of top speed. This video will show you how to orient the sliders correctly into the variator of your scooter equipped with CVT transmission.

Although these are not Dr. Pulley sliders, for $8 shipped these are an excellent choice for experimentation. The combination of a lower than stock weight and the sliding profile of these variator weights allowed me to achieve more top speed and better acceleration.
