Full title reads: "Tarpon Springs. With all the impressive pomp of the Greek Orthodox Church - and a Jazz Band - Archbishop Damaschinos blesses the sea for fishermen."
Tarpon Springs, United States of America.
A parade walks through a crowded street. The parade features priests of the Greek Orthodox Church including Archbishop Damaskinos of Athens. There are also representatives of other denominations there.
While the priests make a blessing we can hear a Jazz band playing in the background. A chant if sung and the Archbishop throws a cross into the water. Several young men dive in from a boat to retrieve it. More chanting and the swimmer who found the cross receives a blessing.
