Hualapai (Wal-lah-pie) “People of the Tall Pines” Ranch
A Gentleman was greeting folks at the beginning of our adventure stating different salutations and answering questions. As we turned the corner we caught eyes and he belted out "Welcome to MY backyard." I LOVED IT! With a huge grin, midwestern nod I replied, "And an epic one at that- Thanks for having us!" because Grand Canyon West is set on the Hualapai Reservation and is a tribal enterprise. Thankfully we did have the honor to experience breathtaking views and stories as they shared a piece of themselves, spirit, and land.
