Time Team is coming back!

We have just returned from an incredible weekend's dig in Cornwall. True to form, the three days witnessed more twists, turns and unexpected developments than the great British weather could throw at us. While we're busy creating the final programmes, join us behind the scenes for an early preview of this fascinating site – an Iron Age settlement with mysterious underground tunnels known locally as a 'fogou'.

We're delighted to introduce our brand new presenters, Gus Casely-Hayford OBE and Natalie Haynes, who have already been getting stuck in. Time Team of 2021 brings together old and new friends, combining classic archaeological techniques with state-of-the-art technology, and we're very lucky to have Gus and Natalie guiding us through the journey.

During the dig, we shared exclusive and extended 'Dig Watch' access with our supporters on Patreon as it unfolded, including site walkabouts, trench-side insights, Q&A sessions with the experts, and even the opportunity to vote on where to place our Digger Cam.
