Hello everyone. This is our family unplanned visit to Formby beach near Liverpool, England.
I still can't run because of my calf injury. But I can walk and enjoy myself.

If you haven't been here yet, you should pay it a visit. Do not park on the official car park, it's £7.00. There's plenty of free car parking spaces along the roads near the beach.
Formby beach carries on for miles, it's full of soft clean yellow sand. There's also an amazing pine forest nature reserve along the shoreline.
The sand dunes are fantastic to slide on. Next time I will bring a plastic sledge. There will be good for training too, for running on.
