The third installment in the "[TMBG Album] Demos" series on this channel, this time around, I have compiled all publicly available demos from the Apollo 18 sessions.

Many of the Apollo 18 Era Demos are somewhat enigmas, with a multitude starting off in completely different embryonic states. "I Palindrome I" started off as a completely different song in its inception, being sung by Flans instead of Linnell. "See the Constellation" began as a track titled "My Lone Constellation," with different lyrics and music. Although the lyrics remain slightly similar on the original demo of "She's Actual Size," the music is completely different from that of the final track, being more of a synth-pop tune instead. The song "I Blame You" from The Guitar (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) EP began as a song amusingly named "Freebird." Not only is the music very different, but it features a completely different set of lyrics. The song "Rocket Ship" would go onto become "Spiraling Shape" from Factory Showroom.

Some other fun anomalies: "I Miss Side Two" ended up in the rather cacophonous ending of "See the Constellation" on the final Apollo 18 album. "Integrity Project" and "Wind Chime" were both included on a promo video for Apollo 18. "Which Describes How You're Feeling" was originally demoed on the 1985 Demo Tape. This version also later appeared on Then: The Earlier Years in 1997. And finally, as most people know, "I'll Remember Third Street" was included on the band's very first demo, being re-recorded nearly a decade later for Apollo 18. The demo of "Cabbagetown" present here is believed to also be from said demo tape.
