The regional integration of the East African Community is on course, despite challenges and differences among member states. Speaking during commemoration of EAC's 20 year celebrations, Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohammed says the bloc has achieved a number of milestones which include boosting of trade by removing non tariff barriers, one stop border posts and free movement of people. Other pillars of the bloc such as monetary union and a political federation are yet to be implemented as conflicts still persist amongst member countries.
