Hi guys! Welcome to this new walking tour video. We are here at Saac Public Market located in Buaya, Lapulapu City, Cebu, Philippines.
I am amazed by this place. I think these sidewalk vendors have the largest display of fish compared to other sidewalk markets. There are lots of fish to choose from, whether it be for tinola, sweet and sour, or just plain sinugba. Wow! You can find it here.
Here, you can also buy kakanin (rice cake) like bingka from Mandaue, budbud, puto and kochenta. The famous taho, fresh lumpia, and more.
Personally, it's really fun capturing the usual happenings in a community where we belong. I'm a Filipino. Living in a third-world country is not that easy, which is why Filipinos are mostly resilient.
Sharing this video that shows our daily routine in a market to interested viewers is like documenting how we live today, and somehow, this video will become so valuable for the next centuries to come. This is who the Filipinos are, and despite our flaws, we and the next generations should be proud of it.
