Unlike certain manufacturers that require a five-figure investment just to get your foot through the door, the vast majority of Omega watches can be purchased for less than $10k. With the exception of a handful of stainless steel models and those crafted from precious metals or ceramic, most Omega watches retail for less than $10,000 and many can be found at a further discount on the pre-owned market.
Known as the first watch worn on the moon, the Speedmaster is Omega’s most famous collection of watches, and a budget of $10k opens the door to most models - especially when shopping pre-owned. Vintage Speedmaster watches and those with precious metal cases will likely be out of reach at this price point, but virtually all other models will be on the table, and many can even be found for less than $5,000.
The classic Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch will be easily attainable within this budget, but you will also have the option of the various Mark II models along with many of the modern Co-Axial variants that have self-winding movements and larger cases. Additionally, on the secondary market, you will also have the option of most discontinued ‘neo-vintage’ references, and some of these rank among the most affordable Speedmaster watches of all.
Some of these Speedmaster models will have self-winding movements, while others will have date displays, triple calendars, or even moonphase complications. Plus, with a bit of searching, you may also find certain limited-edition or numbered Speedmaster models that offer unique takes on the classic NASA-certified aesthetic.

Beyond the Speedmaster collection, a budget of $10k will also grant you access to most of Omega’s Seamaster collection. Much like with the Speedmaster, the majority of Omega Seamaster watches will come in significantly under $10,000.
The Seamaster collection is remarkably diverse and includes a number of sub-collections such as the Planet Ocean, Diver 300M, and Aqua Terra. Just like with the Speedmaster, a budget of $10k will put most Omega Seamaster models within reach, and many can be found for less than half of that when shopping pre-owned.
The Aqua Terra is Omega’s line of go-anywhere watches that are equally at-home on land as they are at sea. Not considered dive watches, Omega Aqua Terra models are generally among the least expensive Seamaster watches, and excluding the solid 18k gold variants, the vast majority of them are easily found for under $10,000 - both at retail and on the secondary market.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300M models are also readily available for less than $10k. Most will come in significantly under budget, and you will even have the option of chronograph models and versions with high-tech ceramic cases. With that in mind, should you want an even more dive-worthy timepiece, the Omega Planet Ocean doubles the water resistance of the standard Seamaster Diver model, offering a whopping depth rating of 600 meters.
Just like with the standard Seamaster Diver 300M line, solid-gold models will be pretty much off the table at this price point, but most other Planet Ocean watches will be easily accessible for less than $10k, and you will even have the option of both chronograph and GMT models. Furthermore, although they can be priced above $10,000 at retail, on the pre-owned market, you will find a number of Omega Planet Ocean models that have cases constructed from either titanium or ceramic.

On the dressier side of things, a $10,000 budget will also place a decent number of Omega Constellation and De Ville watches within reach. Just like with other Omega collections, solid gold models will likely not be within budget, but there will be ample options for both stainless steel and two-tone watches, and the pre-owned market also typically offers a significant savings on these collections.
As a whole, Omega excels at producing watches in the under $10,000 price category. Nearly all of its non-precious metal models can be found under $10k when shopping on the secondary market, and what you receive for your money is right up there with the very best in the industry.
