Under the leadership of Governor JB Pritzker, DCEO is working with partners to launch emergency assistance programs for Illinois small businesses. These initiatives include:
- Economic Injury SBA Disaster Loan (EIDL Loan Advance)
- SBA Express Bridge Loans
- Payroll Protection Program
- SBA Loan Debt Relief
- Illinois Small Business Emergency Loan Fund
- Chicago Resiliency Fund
- Illinois Hospitality Emergency Grant - The Hospitality Emergency Grant Program application is now closed. (Businesses that are selected to receive the grant should have been notified by Accion, the program administrator, on April 4.)
Our nation's small businesses are facing an unprecedented economic disruption due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. On Friday, March 27, 2020, the President signed into law the CARES Act, which contains $376 billion in relief for American workers and small businesses.
In addition to traditional SBA funding programs, the CARES Act established several new temporary programs to address the COVID-19 outbreak.Watch as Melissa Duff Brown, CBDA takes us through the process of understanding each loan/grant type and how to apply.
