Sony a6700 SmallRig Cage Issue Almost Destroyed My Camera. Super sharp camera strap connecting points cut my strap and I almost damaged my Sony a6700. While the SmallRig cage for the a6700 is built well for the most part it does have a flaw that is not well known. The top camera strap mounts are only suitable for old style straps. You should use the bottom anchor posts for other mounting straps like Peak Design Anchor Links. I hope they change the top strap mounts to the round bars like are on the Neewer brand a6700 cage. While I love the SmallRig cage for the most part this issue should not be overlooked for your cameras safety.
