Palak paneer is the dish you just cannot go wrong with, no matter how hard you try 😅
It’s simple, quick and easy. Tastes delicious. Can be made in just a few minutes. You’ll need special skills to mess this one up 😁
Ingredients I used:
- 2 bunches of spinach/palak, around 6 cups
- 250 paneer, cubed
- 1 and half onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 green chillies
- 1tbsp oil
- 1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp jeera powder
- 1 and half tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
Procedure:
- Blanch the spinach/palak in hot water for 2 mins
- Blend it with green chillies and ice cubes (add water if needed)
- Heat oil in pan and add jeera, onions. Cook till golden brown.
- Add all other masalas, except garam masala and turmeric. Add tomatoes and cook till soft.
- Pour the palak purée and cook for 2 mins. Don’t overcook else it will change colour.
- Add garam masala, kasuri methi and paneer
Serve hot with some parathas or jeera rice. Enjoy!
