A detailed tutorial flight showing you what a night VFR cross-country flight on the VATSIM network can look like! Infused with real world knowledge wherever applicable. This video contains the European perspective, however it gives you a great set of knowledge so you can adapt to local variations.
Obviously we are not actually flying on VATSIM for the purpose of being able to make this tutorial, but all phraseology used should be very similar. We assume that this flight is flown during a VFR event with ATC at both airports and with Amsterdam Information providing flight information services over the entire Netherlands (this is different in real life!).
