At the crack of dawn these Ukrainian servicemen have started their reconnaissance operation using this drone. But their efforts were fruitless, with Russian-backed militants quick to jam Ukrainian airwaves using a sophisticated electronic warfare system. This soldier says:
“They just completely covered us, we’re under their system. We’re being jammed by their signals.”
Russian high-tech equipment such as the Krasukha-4 is known to jam even radars and aircrafts. Moscow has been accused by the West of sending its troops and the latest hardware to support the militants in eastern Ukraine.
