The official number of Nigerian school girls missing following the recent mass kidnapping has risen.
Initially it was thought that 200 girls had been seized by the armed group Boko Haram, but now police say that the real number is 276.
It is the latest development in a case that has been surrounded by confusion and misinformation and the government is being criticised for its failure to rescue the girls.
Al Jazeera’s Yvonne Ndege reports.
