Now comes the fun part, throwing rocks! There are many ways of using a staff sling but when trying it out for the first time I recommend focusing on just one specific technique. I find swinging it over the shoulder the easiest but there are other ways like "from the side" and "over the head" but over the shoulders seems to be the most common and most effective way. Be careful when using it and make sure no one is in the way as the rocks can go in any direction when you're starting out!
I'm learning more and more about this everyday so I will be creating more slings and trying out different lengths and sizes, different cords and pouches as well as designing my own version that I'm very excited about and will be made out of steel with some extra mechanical parts that (hopefully) will increase the power quite a bit.
After all I am a professional welder so it would be a shame not to include some welding in this sport!
