December walk from the Thames at Embankment to King's Cross via Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Charing Cross Road and Tottenham Court Road, ending in the Harry Potter shop.

45-60 minute walk, depending on walking speed

Join me as the sun rises over a cold early-morning London in the middle of December to dodge commuters, delivery lorries and rubbish trucks as everyone makes their way to work. Starting from Victoria Embankment I pass Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square before heading through Leicester Square and then up Charing Cross Road and Tottenham Court Road eventually arriving at Euston Square and finally King’s Cross Station. The Harry Potter Shop, of course, gets a visit.
There was quite a lot of equipment failure with the Osmo Pocket – perhaps due to the SD card – so some parts of the walk were lost, in particular from Trafalgar Square to Leicester Square, then Charing Cross Road in the area of the Harry Potter show at the Palace Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, and around China Town, so I’m sorry not to have been able to bring you everything.
Sorry also for the clacking noise during the walk – I wore my nice warm winter coat which has tags on it that make too much noise for filming, and as we got later for our meeting (and free breakfast – I might have mentioned that a few times!), the walking got faster and so did the clacking!
