Boneless fish/ fish fillets- 400 g
Turmeric powder- 3/4 tsp
Oil- 4 to 5 tbsp
Cloves- 3
Cinnamon sticks- 1” stick 1
Cardamom- 1
Onions- 2 big onions/ 4 medium sized onions
Green chillies- 1
Curry leaves- 2 springs
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Garlic pods- 7-8 small size
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Coconut pieces- 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds/ saunf- 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste (approximately 1 1/2 tsp)
* you can do this recipe with any fish, but remove the thorns. In this recipe I used tilapia fish fillets. You can use any other fresh or frozen fish of your choice.
* This is very ancient and unique recipe. Fish is a good source of protein and it contains OMEGA- 3 fatty acids. It helps reduce the risk of heart diseases.
