this gemini ds-824 / 1224 is a 12 bit dynamo. it's it's digital sampler, and ii is lofi cassette flavor tastiness.

is it an akai mpc 60 and sp 1200 killer? yes and no.

the only area this kills the sp1200 is the price. but that's about it.

as for the moc60, and the akai S612 for that matter, the gemini does kill it - for me. the sound on the gemini believe it or not sounds better than the akais.
