Fraupow customers can use this video to help resolve issues they are having with the Wearable Pump
Weak or no suction
1)Check that all pump parts are installed correctly - see assembly video
2)Check suction levels by removing motor and placing on a flat hand or arm
3) Make sure pump has sufficient battery (charge for at least 2.5 hours)
4) Have you ordered the right size pump? We have 5 sizes to choose from
5) Make sure correct mode is used. There is a massage and expression mode
6) All parts should be completely dry before assembling your pump
7) Consumable parts should be replaced regularly. These are the VALVES and SILICONE DIAGPHRAGMS. They should be replaced every 1-3 months. This can affect suction
8) The motor should not be in contact with any liquid
9) Check that there is no milk residue clogging up any parts
10) The pump should feel secure in your bra
11) Check that the rubber ring around the motor is still attached. If the motor does not fit securely on the collecting cup this will affect suction.
Battery life
1)The battery should be charged at one bar minimum and not when fully drained to maintain optimum battery life
2) It is important to only use the Fraupow charging cable provided and at minimum a 5volt or 1amp adapter plug
CLICKING/IRREGULAR NOISE
1)Parts may not be assembled correctly or there is a damaged part. Please see assembly video
LEAKING
1)This can occur if you are expressing over 180ml limit
2) The seal on the flange may have loosened if the parts are sterilised for longer than 5 minutes for over 100 degrees Celsius
3) Are the parts securely assembled? See assembly video
4) The consumable parts: The Valve and diaphragm may need replacing
5) The Flange or Linker is not fitted securely
