A Massapequa High School senior "experienced a sudden medical event" during a varsity ice hockey game Saturday night and died at a hospital. A letter to students and families from the administration at Massapequa High School announced the death of Connor Kasin. "It is heartbreaking to report that Connor did not survive. His passing is devastating to the Massapequa community, and we offer our deepest condolences to Connor's family and friends," the letter said in part.
