Do you prime before you paint? We always do.
Here’s why:
While you might be tempted to skip the primer or choose a paint-and-primer in one, we don’t. We always use a high-quality primer because it sets the foundation for a good quality paint job and a professional finish. We were lucky @kilzbrand partnered with us for this bedroom makeover as they’ve been our go-to primer brand for more than a decade because they help us achieve long-lasting results for our home and our clients’ homes.
For this project, we chose KILZ 3® PREMIUM Primer because it’s fast drying, low odor, very low VOC, and has excellent adhesion. The thicker high-hiding formula also hides surface imperfections, which is ideal for this house that was built in 1903 and has a lot of ‘character’ marks from the previous owner and our busy family.
