Morphing a Volvo into a Ferrari
In this latest video from Pro Shaper Workshop in Charlton, Massachusetts, we’re checking in on Spencer’s Volvo P1800-to-Ferrari 275 GTB transformation project. This is a continuation of our journey, showcasing the incredible progress Spencer has made by Day 10 of our project-driven coachbuilding class.
Spencer started as a beginner with no prior experience in shaping panels, but under our guidance, he’s transformed the stripped-down Volvo chassis into a stunning work of art. Using 3D-printed rib sections and custom wire framing, he’s been able to fabricate complex panels, including expertly crafted door skins and curved surfaces, all using our tools and techniques.
This video highlights the latest updates, including fine-tuning the panels with a PDI light to achieve world-class quality.
