Rishi Sunak will become the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after being elected unopposed as the leader of the Conservative Party.
Mr Sunak will be the first British-Asian prime minister and, at 42 years old, will be the youngest in over 200 years.
He was a front-runner to be prime minister after incumbent Boris Johnson’s resignation but lost to Liz Truss – who lasted just 45 days in the role.
