This video was made to showcase Peru's transport sector scenario to the world during the Transport and Climate Change Week 2021.
Peru approved a National Policy for Sustainable Urban Transport. The multimodal approach connects all modes of transport together to one integrated project. Promovilidad, a program to support sustainable urban transport technically and financially, already assists 29 cities with 400km of bike lanes supported financially in 25 cities.
Transport and Climate Change Week is an annual event organized by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
