Today's video is about how I look after my Begonia luxurians in winter. Coming from rainforests in Brazil, these tender foliage plants have a beautiful exotic look and fit in well with palms, bananas and Colocasias etc. in a UK tropical style or jungle garden. Reaching over 2m tall, they’re an impressive plant with red stems and large palmage leaves but here in North Lincolnshire they need bringing inside and overwintering as a houseplant. I discuss care tips, when to bring these plants in and how to water them and keep the humidity up whilst they’re indoors if you don’t have a frost-free greenhouse or polytunnel.
