Have you hiked at Point Lobos yet? 😍 It’s one of my favorite hikes for so many reasons!
🌲 You get to hike through a variety of environments. Beautiful forested sections, dramatic coastal bluffs, and you can even get down to a few nice beaches.
🦦 Every time I’ve gone to Point Lobos, I’ve seen a nice mix of Otters, Pelicans, and Harbor Seals.
Otters are so freakin’ cute!!!!
🐋 I believe you can also see whales from the shore, and there are areas to tidepool during low tide!
There’s also an excellent little museum to learn about this area’s history in Whaler's Cove.
🥾 Take the Point Lobos Loop Trail on All Trails, which covers 6.3 miles and about 650 feet of elevation gain. This trail will take you through all the highlights.
🚗 Parking is $10 and can fill up fast! Free street parking is available on Highway 1. It’s a pretty walk into the park, so saving the $10 might be a no-brainer for you!
