Today is World Lemur Day!
Meet the four Ring-tailed Lemurs, Sunni, Katta, Andro and Vintana who call Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - In the Lost Valley precinct home.
The Ring-tailed Lemur is highly social, living in 'troops'. They use their long, vividly striped, black-and-white tails like a flag so members of the troop can keep a track of where everyone is when travelling along the ground.
They have human-like hands with opposable thumbs and big toes so they are able to grip branches and hold objects such as their food of fruit, leaves, flowers and bark.
