This safety education video is required for individuals who will be working with lasers in Vanderbilt University research labs but are NOT employed by VU and are not VU students (non-VU individuals) and cannot access this module in the SkyVU Oracle Learn system. You should complete this video training and the accompanying quiz to document your understanding of how to work safely with lasers before beginning any laser work. Please provide proof of completion to your principal investigator/lab manager or mentor and also email proof of completion or any questions to lasersafety@vanderbilt.edu. Researchers who are VU students, faculty, staff or postdocs should complete this training within the Oracle Learn system in SkyVU by searching for “VU Laser Safety Video Training”.
