The Axe-FXIII is unrivalled where modellers are concerned. That's my opinion, anyway. However, the one overdrive model it does not (yet) offer is the mighty Power Booster. So I dug out my 1st edition Bufallo FX version, paired it up with a '94 CIJ '57 Reissue Strat that has been recently upgraded with ObsidianWire electronics (thank you, Ray Carlton!) and mixed the whole lot up together for some fun. And they get along famously!
